Phoenix Seafoods (UK) Ltd. is an international trading company dedicated to supplying our clients with container loads of quality frozen seafood products from around the world. We aim to develop long-term relationships with our suppliers to establish export markets for their products and to offer global procurement solutions to our customers – primarily importers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers and restaurant chains.

Kyri Prokidis

Managing Director

With over 27 years in seafood trading, Kyri started by developing the markets in Portugal and Spain, before focusing on opportunities in the Caribbean and Latin America, mainly in the hospitality sector. He is multilingual and his trading skills, combined with a strong belief in committed customer service, have helped him and his team to develop successful client partnerships over the years. He is well-travelled and his many journeys around Asia, the Far East and South America have produced mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and garnered excellent in-depth experience with the products we supply to our customers.

Tim ter Horst

Procurement & Sales Director

Having started out as a seafood trader in 2006 after graduating from the University of Nottingham, Tim has acquired extensive knowledge of global seafood markets. In addition to developing a client base in Central and South America, he has worked with clients in North America, Africa and the Middle East. Tim possesses a strong procurement background and in recent years has gained experience in launching a brand of value-added frozen seafood products for the US retail sector.

Eva Ortega Zamorano

Commercial Director

Eva graduated with a degree in History and over the past 15 years, she has forged a career in international trade, combining two of her great passions: intercultural relations and negotiation. As a native Spanish-speaker, she has been highly successful in developing a strong rapport with customers in the Latin American markets. Her empathy and determination make her a vital asset to our company.
